【摘要】：公示語(yǔ)是一種向公眾提供信息,以此來(lái)達(dá)到交際目的的文體。對(duì)公示語(yǔ)的錯(cuò)誤翻譯會(huì)給外國(guó)人帶來(lái)不便,也可能造成不良后果。銀川市是寧夏回族自治區(qū)的首府城市,是全區(qū)政治、經(jīng)濟(jì)和文化中心,也是中國(guó)-阿拉伯博覽會(huì)的永久舉辦地。隨著寧夏對(duì)外合作與交流的不斷增加,更多的外國(guó)人來(lái)到銀川經(jīng)商、旅游、學(xué)習(xí)和生活。然而,銀川市街區(qū)公示語(yǔ)翻譯問(wèn)題非常普遍,這些問(wèn)題的存在使得公示語(yǔ)的應(yīng)用功能難以有效發(fā)揮,影響銀川市的對(duì)外合作交流和國(guó)際形象。因此,筆者進(jìn)行了此次調(diào)查研究,目的是引起有關(guān)行政管理部門、專家學(xué)者及社會(huì)大眾的關(guān)注和重視,改善街區(qū)英語(yǔ)公示語(yǔ)翻譯的現(xiàn)狀和提高公示語(yǔ)翻譯的質(zhì)量。筆者實(shí)地調(diào)查了銀川市興慶區(qū)、金鳳區(qū)和西夏區(qū)具有代表性街區(qū)公示語(yǔ)的漢英翻譯現(xiàn)狀,建立了語(yǔ)料庫(kù),并對(duì)此進(jìn)行了匯總分析。筆者發(fā)現(xiàn)目前存在的問(wèn)題有胡譯、過(guò)度翻譯、漏譯、全拼音標(biāo)識(shí)、名稱不統(tǒng)一、拼寫錯(cuò)誤、中式英語(yǔ)、語(yǔ)法錯(cuò)誤、表達(dá)不準(zhǔn)確以及漢語(yǔ)和英語(yǔ)混用等。另外,筆者也發(fā)現(xiàn)銀川市街區(qū)公示語(yǔ)漢英雙語(yǔ)建設(shè)處于較低水平。針對(duì)以上問(wèn)題,筆者提出了公示語(yǔ)翻譯中譯者要根據(jù)公示語(yǔ)的功能特點(diǎn)進(jìn)行翻譯,要以彼得·紐馬克的交際翻譯法為導(dǎo)向,采用簡(jiǎn)潔性、準(zhǔn)確性和互文性的公示語(yǔ)翻譯原則以及運(yùn)用借用、模仿和創(chuàng)造性的翻譯策略。同時(shí),公共權(quán)力要積極介入,采取有效措施解決存在的問(wèn)題。相關(guān)管理部門要加大公示語(yǔ)漢英雙語(yǔ)建設(shè)的力度,建立統(tǒng)一的監(jiān)管部門,制定相關(guān)的法律法規(guī),并且要參與全國(guó)公示語(yǔ)翻譯語(yǔ)料庫(kù)的建設(shè),提供網(wǎng)絡(luò)在線服務(wù),開展糾錯(cuò)行動(dòng)。本次通過(guò)對(duì)銀川市街區(qū)公示語(yǔ)翻譯現(xiàn)狀的調(diào)查研究,發(fā)現(xiàn)了存在的問(wèn)題,提出了符合銀川市街區(qū)公示語(yǔ)翻譯現(xiàn)狀的翻譯原則、翻譯策略和對(duì)策建議,對(duì)于改善銀川市街區(qū)公示語(yǔ)翻譯的現(xiàn)狀,加強(qiáng)銀川市的對(duì)外宣傳與交流,提升銀川市的國(guó)際形象等具有積極的現(xiàn)實(shí)意義。
[Abstract]:Public signs is a style of providing information to the public in order to achieve the purpose of communication. Improper translation of public signs may cause inconvenience and adverse consequences to foreigners. Yinchuan is the capital city of Ningxia Hui Autonomous region, the political, economic and cultural center of the whole region, and the permanent host of China-Arab Exposition. With the increasing of foreign cooperation and exchange, more foreigners come to Yinchuan to do business, travel, study and live. However, the translation of public signs in Yinchuan blocks is very common. The existence of these problems makes the application of public signs difficult to play effectively, affecting the foreign cooperation and communication and international image of Yinchuan. Therefore, the purpose of this investigation is to arouse the concern and attention of relevant administrative departments, experts and scholars and the general public, and to improve the present situation and the quality of translation of public signs in blocks. The present situation of C-E translation of public signs in Xinqing District, Jinfeng District and Xixia District of Yinchuan City is investigated, and a corpus is established and analyzed. The author finds that there are some problems such as Hu translation, overtranslation, missing translation, complete pinyin logo, disunity of name, spelling error, Chinglish, grammatical error, inaccurate expression and mixed use of Chinese and English. In addition, the author also found that the bilingual construction of public signs in Yinchuan is at a low level. In order to solve the above problems, the author suggests that the translator should translate public signs according to their functional characteristics, guided by Peter Newmark's communicative approach and concise. Translation principles of accuracy and intertextuality and translation strategies using borrowing, imitation and creativity. At the same time, public power should actively intervene and take effective measures to solve the existing problems. The relevant management departments should strengthen the bilingual construction of public signs in Chinese and English, establish a unified supervision department, formulate relevant laws and regulations, and participate in the construction of the national public sign translation corpus, provide online services and carry out error correction actions. Through the investigation and study of the current situation of the translation of public signs in Yinchuan district, this paper finds out the existing problems, and puts forward the translation principles, translation strategies and suggestions in line with the present situation of the translation of public signs in Yinchuan district. It has positive practical significance for improving the current situation of public sign translation in Yinchuan district, strengthening the propaganda and communication of Yinchuan city and promoting the international image of Yinchuan city.
