　　在當(dāng)代社會，法律翻譯，特別是立法文本翻譯的重要性日益突出。法律文本與其他文本相比具有不同的特征，這決定了法律翻譯的工作者面臨的問題與其他文本翻譯的工作者面臨的問題有所不同。 銜接是文本的普遍特征，存在于任何語言中。但是由于英語和漢語屬于不同的語系，其銜接手段必然存在不少的差異。一種語言中的銜接手段不一定存在于另一種語言中，或者存在的形式同。盡管國內(nèi)外的語言學(xué)家在銜接這個領(lǐng)域已經(jīng)做了很多研究，但是卻忽略了不同語言銜接方式的差異。對于立法語言銜接方式的研究很少，英漢立法語言銜接方式對比的研究了則更為缺乏。 本文旨在對英漢立法語言信息的銜接方式進(jìn)行對比研究，從而為法律翻譯理論學(xué)家、法律翻譯工作者以及其他語言學(xué)家提供立法語言信息銜接方式方面的啟示。 作者運(yùn)用銜接理論和法律語篇樹狀信息結(jié)構(gòu)模式對法律語篇雙語語料庫中抽取的中文立法文本及其英語翻譯文本進(jìn)行對比，找出立法語言信息結(jié)構(gòu)中的主要銜接方式，總結(jié)這些銜接方式的相同和不同之處，分析其特征，從而為翻譯人員提供啟示，使他們在翻譯工作中能夠有意識的對譯文進(jìn)行銜接方面的調(diào)整。
