概念隱喻是認(rèn)知語(yǔ)言學(xué)的基礎(chǔ)理論之一,是和概念轉(zhuǎn)喻一起由Lakoff和Johnson提出的。它們被認(rèn)為是人類認(rèn)知世界的工具之一,在我們的生活中無(wú)處不在。隱喻是基于事物相似性的跨域映射,主要功能是理解；而轉(zhuǎn)喻是基于鄰近性的域內(nèi)映射,主要功能是指稱。近年來(lái),關(guān)于兩者關(guān)系的研究層出不窮。多數(shù)研究者認(rèn)為兩者是一個(gè)連續(xù)的統(tǒng)一體,并且轉(zhuǎn)喻比隱喻更基礎(chǔ)。為了解釋兩者的互相作用,研究者提出了不同的模式。其中影響最大的是Goossens的“隱轉(zhuǎn)喻”理論。體驗(yàn)主義認(rèn)為人類以自我身體經(jīng)驗(yàn)為基礎(chǔ)來(lái)理解周圍世界。作為人類最熟悉的部分,身體成為隱喻思維的主要來(lái)源。在我國(guó),對(duì)身體隱喻和轉(zhuǎn)喻的研究主要包括“頭”、“臉”、“心”、“口”、“手”等。這些研究為隱喻思維的普遍性提供了證明。為了進(jìn)一步揭示隱喻和轉(zhuǎn)喻的關(guān)系并且對(duì)比不同文化中隱轉(zhuǎn)喻思維的特點(diǎn),本論文選取身體部位詞“腳”為研究對(duì)象,從北京大學(xué)中國(guó)語(yǔ)言學(xué)研究中心的現(xiàn)代漢語(yǔ)語(yǔ)料庫(kù)(CCL)和美國(guó)當(dāng)代英語(yǔ)語(yǔ)料庫(kù)(COCA)中分別取樣1000條進(jìn)行跨語(yǔ)言對(duì)比分析,并用Goossens的“隱轉(zhuǎn)喻”理論來(lái)闡釋隱喻和轉(zhuǎn)喻的互相作用。本研究結(jié)果大致如下：第一,人類日常語(yǔ)言中存在大量...
