隨著全球自由貿易的深入發(fā)展,國與國之間的經濟競爭越來越激烈。各國都會在不同程度上設置貿易壁壘來保護本國的工業(yè)和市場。如今,中國正攜手“一帶一路”,不斷深化與貿易伙伴的合作。為了幫助經濟和貿易領域的人員和機構了解我國重要貿易伙伴存在的貿易壁壘,進而處理這些問題,筆者選取了美國貿易代表辦公室發(fā)布的《2014年國別貿易壁壘評估報告》(2014 National Trade Estimate Report on Foreign Trade Barriers)的歐盟和澳大利亞部分,共15000字,作為本實踐報告的語料。該報告將貿易壁壘分為九類,包括貿易協(xié)定、政府采購、知識產權保護、服務貿易壁壘、投資壁壘、電子商務及其他壁壘等。由于該報告涉及經濟、醫(yī)學、法律、電信和國際貿易等領域的專門知識,其語言風格十分嚴謹,而且有許多長而復雜的句子、機構名稱和文件名稱。為了使翻譯與原文的風格如出一轍,筆者決定以著名英語語言學家韓禮德(M.A.Halliday)的語域理論及其三要素“語場”、“語旨”和“語式”為指導,采用恰當的翻譯策略來處理翻譯過程中遇到的具體問題。本實踐報告首先說明了此次翻譯任務,介紹了源文本的內...
