專(zhuān)有名詞一般被認(rèn)為是單一實(shí)體的表達(dá)式,與普通名詞相對(duì)。然而,在一些語(yǔ)境中,專(zhuān)有名詞失去了其所指的唯一性,逐漸偏離了其原有的意義,發(fā)生了語(yǔ)義擴(kuò)展。眾多學(xué)者從不同的角度對(duì)該現(xiàn)象進(jìn)行了研究,提出了許多有見(jiàn)地的見(jiàn)解。本文在前人研究的基礎(chǔ)上從認(rèn)知語(yǔ)言學(xué)視角對(duì)此現(xiàn)象進(jìn)行了研究,試圖更進(jìn)一步認(rèn)識(shí)專(zhuān)有名詞泛化,并探索這一現(xiàn)象的理論意義。 認(rèn)知語(yǔ)言學(xué)認(rèn)為,意義是百科知識(shí)性的,意義構(gòu)建就是概念化。專(zhuān)有名詞的概念結(jié)構(gòu)由符號(hào)概念和類(lèi)概念組成,概念結(jié)構(gòu)的二元性成了專(zhuān)有名詞泛化的語(yǔ)義基礎(chǔ)。導(dǎo)致專(zhuān)有名詞泛化的機(jī)制是隱喻和轉(zhuǎn)喻。隱喻和轉(zhuǎn)喻是我們賴(lài)以生存的思維、行為和說(shuō)話(huà)方式。在專(zhuān)有名詞泛化意義的構(gòu)建過(guò)程中,有時(shí)不是這兩種機(jī)制單獨(dú)起作用,而是這兩種機(jī)制相互作用,一步一步地構(gòu)建了泛化后的意義。這一過(guò)程具有復(fù)雜性,動(dòng)態(tài)性和靈活性。專(zhuān)有名詞泛化的認(rèn)知?jiǎng)右蛟谟谶@一過(guò)程能用已有的簡(jiǎn)潔的語(yǔ)言符號(hào)表達(dá)新穎的或大量的信息,繼而彌補(bǔ)語(yǔ)義缺口,實(shí)現(xiàn)語(yǔ)言和認(rèn)知上的經(jīng)濟(jì)性。這個(gè)過(guò)程滿(mǎn)足了人類(lèi)的認(rèn)知機(jī)制和經(jīng)驗(yàn)組織方式。研究表明,不僅那些具有歷史積淀義的專(zhuān)有名詞能夠泛化,其他的專(zhuān)有名詞依靠轉(zhuǎn)喻的視角化都可以泛化。研究進(jìn)一步證明了語(yǔ)義的第一性,句...
