【摘要】：在中國文化中，“面子”被視為最具代表性的民族標(biāo)志之一。為了能夠在人際交往中保持和諧融洽的交流氛圍，人們需要做好“面子功夫”。然而，面子概念和面子維護(hù)策略都不是人們與生俱有的知識(shí)和能力，，人們需要在社會(huì)化的過程中不斷習(xí)得這些概念和社交技能。本實(shí)證研究通過分析320份青少年問卷和160份成人問卷，試圖描述出不同年齡層和性別的中國青少年的面子維護(hù)策略使用特征。 胡先縉曾把中國人的面子觀分成面子與臉兩方面，遵循她的這一區(qū)分，本研究根據(jù)實(shí)際需要，只涉及前者，即“面子”概念。在數(shù)據(jù)分析及討論后，本研究得出如下結(jié)論：中國青少年的面子意識(shí)和面子維護(hù)策略的使用均存在年齡差異。具體說來，高中生使用面子維護(hù)策略的人數(shù)比例低于初中生；但使用面子維護(hù)策略的高中生的語用水平較初中生有所提高，他們能用更禮貌的方式表達(dá)內(nèi)心意圖。與青少年相比，無論是使用面子維護(hù)策略的人數(shù)比例還是語用水平，成人都有大幅度提高。此外，在青少年中，初、高中女生使用面子維護(hù)策略的人數(shù)比例均高于同年級(jí)男生。
[Abstract]:In Chinese culture, face is regarded as one of the most representative national symbols. In order to maintain a harmonious atmosphere in interpersonal communication, people need to do face work well. However, the concept of face and the strategy of maintaining face are not the knowledge and ability that people have. People need to acquire these concepts and social skills constantly in the process of socialization. By analyzing 320 adolescent questionnaires and 160 adult questionnaires, this empirical study attempts to describe the characteristics of face maintenance strategies used by Chinese adolescents of different age groups and sexes. Hu Xianjin once divided the Chinese face view into face and face, following this distinction. According to the actual needs, this study only involves the former, namely "face" concept. Based on the data analysis and discussion, this study draws the following conclusions: there are age differences in face awareness and the use of face-saving strategies among Chinese adolescents. Specifically, the proportion of senior high school students using face maintenance strategy is lower than that of junior high school students, but the pragmatic level of high school students using face maintenance strategy is higher than that of junior high school students, and they can express their inner intention in a more polite way. Compared with adolescents, both the proportion of people using face-preserving strategies and the level of pragmatics have been greatly improved. In addition, the proportion of junior high school girls using face maintenance strategy was higher than that of the same grade boys.
